Aamar Jhamar Tulasi - Bhojpuri Folk Song

This song is about maternal love for daughters. In India, girls get moved to their husbands houses after marriage. Boys usually live in their family house. In this song, it's said that mothers try to hide the fact that their daughters has reached to marriageable age to delay the departure; while fathers, unlike mothers, start searching for a better life-partner for their daughters - as if it's a burden. Further it says that daughter in laws, no matter how good, can't be a replacement for daughters. They will reply back (which is rude). It's a nice song with lots of metaphors. It's a sad song.
